I'm a lawyer and writer based in New York. I grew up just outside Montreal and went to law school at McGill. I clerked at the Supreme Court of Canada and then moved to New York in 2018 to work as a litigator at Cooley LLP. In 2024, I joined two friends to build an art law practice at Studio Legal, a boutique law firm focused on the creative economy. We work with artists, galleries, cultural institutions, and all sorts of creative people on everything from contract negotiations to copyright to disputes and litigation.

In my spare time, I write Good Title, a newsletter about art and law. I cover the legal topics that shape the art world, like the rights of artists, the transformation of copyright in the digital age, and the big debates in cultural property and heritage. I also write more generally about art history and the art market.
